Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a hub for clinical and biomedical innovation. To celebrate, this month’s issue of BWH Clinical & Research News is dedicated to showcasing some of the many bright ideas at BWH that are advancing patient care, education and medicine. This special innovation issue features stories such as Dr. Mark Brezinski’s novel approach to teaching medical students by optimizing their learning environment to a video on how BWH bioengineers are using 3D printers to create blood vessels and other tissues.

In line with the theme of innovation, you may also notice the new layout for BWH Clinical & Research News. We’ve revamped the website to bring our stories to life with larger, vibrant images, a clean, sleek layout and improved navigation. We’d love to get your feedback on the new layout, the innovation issue or any general comments and questions you may have. Send an e-mail to BWHClinicalandResearchNews@partners.org. We hope you enjoy reading this issue as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together.
