Improve Your Well-being this Summer with LiveWell@Brigham

Take advantage of this new summer program for on-site and remote staff to improve your wellbeing. Between now and August 13, you can participate in a wide variety of free activities and events, such as outdoor music and yoga classes, power walks and live, in-person seminars. Save the Date and Register Today: Mindful Stress Reduction Course

Hosted by the Osher Clinical Center, this free, three-session virtual course will introduce the practice of mindfulness to help manage stress and improve well-being. Classes will be held on Monday evenings, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., September 13, 20, and 27.

National Opioid and Substance Abuse Awareness Day

National Opioid and Substance Awareness Day is on Tuesday, September 21. There will be a virtual town hall event at noon where participants will learn from experts and from those with lived experience about substance misuse and treatment, and will be able to take free, anonymous, online screenings for themselves or a loved one. For those who screen positive or still have concerns about substance use, there will be referrals to local treatment resources. Register here.
