Request for Proposals for the Connors Center IGNITE Awards

The Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology has announced a request for research proposals (RFP) for the IGNITE Awards. Letters of intent are due Tuesday, Oct. 1. The goal of the IGNITE Awards program is to advance understanding of female-specific and sex-differentiated effects in novel therapeutics (drugs, devices and digital innovations) for diseases that affect women exclusively, predominantly or differentially. Two $50,000 awards will be distributed. The award total is inclusive of indirect costs. For more details, please visit the Connors Center website.

Employee Flu Vaccination: 2019–2020 Flu Season

We all play a role in minimizing the risk of hospital-acquired infections, such as the flu, and protecting the health and well-being of our patients, their loved ones and each other. The single best way to avoid getting sick with seasonal flu and spreading the virus to others is to get the annual influenza vaccine. The deadline to receive your flu vaccination is Friday, Nov. 15. Brigham Health Opens Comprehensive Care Facility in Pembroke

Brigham and Women’s Health Care Center, Pembroke, a multilevel facility spanning 30,000 square feet, opened its doors on Sept. 3 to provide comprehensive primary and specialty care medical services to South Shore residents in one convenient setting. Two existing practices, Brigham and Women’s/Harbor Medical Associates in Pembroke and South Shore Hanover OB/GYN, have joined forces toward this effort. Learn more.

Activate Your Lab Archives Account by Oct. 1

All principal investigators (PIs) must have their LabArchives account activated and in use by Tuesday, Oct. 1. Use your Partners username and password to activate your account. PIs will be required to use LabArchives to document research data and other record keeping activities for active research projects. Learn more.
