Advancing Women’s Health: A 2019 Update
This live course, to be held May 30, 7:30 a.m.–5:15 p.m., will provide clinicians with up-to-date best practices in women’s health across multiple disciplines. Through didactic presentations and Q&A with experts across many specialties, faculty will discuss the latest clinical and translational research, including emerging areas of care in women’s health such as trauma informed care and updates in women’s health policies. The course will equip participants with the resources to learn and implement changes in the delivery of care as well as increase their knowledge of therapeutic options for women. Partners Biobank Milestone: 100,000 Participants
Partners HealthCare has enrolled 100,000 participants in the Partners Biobank, making it one of the largest biobanks in the country and helping to accelerate clinical research that will allow physicians to better understand, treat and prevent diseases in current and future patients. Karsh Scholars Day: Celebrating Nursing Science
As part of the 2019 Nurse Recognition Celebrations, the Department of Nursing will host the inaugural Karsh Nursing Scholars Day on May 30, 11 a.m.– 5 p.m. This day is to honor and celebrate Brigham nurses’ contributions to the profession and health care delivery. More details can be found here.
