With a lively panel discussion moderated by BWH Chair of the Board Marshall Moriarty, the plenary session set the tone for BWH’s Second Annual Research Day on Nov. 21. Panelists touched on everything from Clinical Innovation Day and BWH iHub to interactions with industry and the future growth of research at BWH.

“We play a leading role in the national landscape when it comes to research, discovery and innovation,” said BWH President Betsy Nabel, MD, who served as a panelist. “In the next few years, we are going to grow in our collaborations with biotech companies, pharmaceutical companies and other domains so that we can continue to flourish, even as NIH dollars remain flat or decrease.”
